I believe real change begins when a person
feels seen, heard and accepted.

Славина Коцева

My work as a psychotherapist is for people going through anxiety, emotional strain, life transitions, or a sense of having lost touch with themselves.

I believe therapy is a meeting in which a person can calmly explore their experiences, feelings and inner patterns. I do not offer ready answers. I support each person in finding their own path towards more clarity, understanding and inner resilience.

Over the years I have trained in a range of psychotherapeutic approaches, which I integrate according to the person and their needs. In my work I use talk therapy, art therapy, dream work, active imagination, sandplay therapy and guided meditations. Where appropriate for the individual, I also draw on astropsychology or regression therapy as complementary tools.

For me, therapy is not a pursuit of perfection or of quick change. It is a process of gradually coming to know yourself, of building a deeper connection with your own feelings, needs and inner world.

What matters most to me is that a person feels safe — that they can speak freely, without fear of judgement and without needing to be anything other than who they are. It is in such a setting that the most meaningful and lasting changes often begin.

About me

My interest in the inner world and in the processes of personal growth led me to psychology and psychotherapy early in my professional path.

Over the years I have built my training step by step — through university education, specialised courses, personal therapy, supervision and practice. For me professional development is an ongoing process, and I continue to study today.

I believe a good therapist never stops learning — from teachers and colleagues, and from the meeting with every person who places their trust in them. It is this path that gradually shaped the way I work today.

My path

The experience that shaped how I work

Each course I have taken has contributed to how I understand people and the therapeutic process today. In my practice I integrate different approaches, adapted to the person, the themes and their needs.

  1. University of Strasbourg, France

    BA in Visual Arts

This is where my interest in images, symbols and mythology began. I did not yet know that this way of thinking would later become a natural part of how I understand a person’s inner world and experience.

  2. New Bulgarian University

    BA in Psychology

My interest gradually led me to psychology. I wanted to understand the human psyche more deeply — the way we experience the world, and the processes behind our emotions, choices and relationships. This education laid the foundations of my therapeutic practice.

  3. National Academy of Art

    MA in Art Therapy

In time I began looking for ways to bring psychological knowledge together with the creative process. Art therapy showed me that a person sometimes expresses what matters most not only in words, but through images, symbols and making.

  4. Training in the analytical psychology of C. G. Jung

    Jungian psychotherapy

This led me naturally to Jung’s analytical psychology. Work with dreams, symbols, active imagination and sandplay therapy deepened my understanding of unconscious processes and their part in personal development.

  5. Astropsychology

    Symbols and archetypes

My interest in symbols also brought me to astropsychology. In it I found another symbolic language, which I use as a tool for self-knowledge and for understanding the inner dynamics of the personality — not as a means of predicting the future.

  6. Regression therapy

    Working with the deeper layers

Regression therapy gradually found its place in my practice as well. In it I found another approach that allows work with deep emotional experiences and recurring inner patterns, where that is appropriate for the individual.

My approach

The way I work

I believe every person has their own story and inner rhythm. That is why I do not work to a fixed model, but choose approaches according to the person, the themes and their needs.

  • Dream work Dreams often reflect inner processes that rarely reach consciousness on their own.
  • Active imagination A method from analytical psychology for working with inner images and symbols.
  • Sandplay therapy A non-verbal approach that allows experience to be expressed through symbolic images.
  • Art therapy Uses the creative process as a means of awareness and emotional expression.
  • Guided meditations A guided practice for connecting with inner experience and developing awareness.

Where it is wanted and appropriate for the individual, astropsychology or regression can also be used in therapeutic work as complementary tools for self-knowledge.

At the heart of every therapeutic meeting are trust, safety and respect for each person’s individual path.

For me therapy is a process of gradually coming to know yourself. I believe every person carries the potential for change, and that lasting change happens when we begin to understand our experiences, emotions and inner patterns more deeply.
